The book that i've been reading for the past couple of days is Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens. Is about a time in the 1770's, during the of the after math of the french revolution. It will also be switching between both England and France through out the entire book in one. The book it's self is split into three different books; within the book. But, oddly enough it starts in a very interesting way that has to do with a man named Jerry Cruncher, a man who is very odd to begin with. To a girl living in England, thinking that her father is 'said to be dead', only to be found supposedly alive in France. And more characters in the clear. With a long journey and a heavy heart there more that await for these simple broad times of the after math.
Within the stories may characters and intricate miniature details in the story. I can connect the most with Miss Pross. Who is one of the minor going on to be a major character that is played within the books setting. Being that she is Lucie Manette's, friend/governess due to the fact that Lucie is an orphan. But, I can connect to Miss Pross because. she plays as that one character who will support their friend when they want to do something. For, example in the book Lucie finds out the her 'supposedly' dead father is in France alive. She also has this no-nonsense attitude, which is an attitude similar to what I have and act like.
While I was reading, I had a few thoughts in mind. One of the many thoughts that were going through my head during the time I was reading the book. Was, 'What time period is this set in?' Because, for the whole time I was reading it didn't sink in to my mind; Until it clearly said that it was established in the second book. Another thing that I had to think to myself, was, how great the author wrote the book. (For the time it took place.)
