Text to Text - Elevation

The book I have been reading since my last post is Elevation by Stephen King. Since my last reading a lot has happened. Scott Carey still has his disease and rapid weight loss and his friend Bob still can't find a name for this disease. As the days pass Scott is gradually losing more weight each day. In addition to this he finds that his body is still not shrinking and that he feels light but doesn't look that way. Along with this new lightness he finds he can jump very high and swing on tree branches and lights in his house, and he also has more energy. He ends up competing in a 12 k in his city to test his new abilities. Along with Scott, his neighbor Deidre whom he is still on bad terms with is competing along his side as she is a former Olympic runner. As they start the race he stays in the middle for the first 8 kilometers and then starts to speed up to the front with Deidre and they are neck and neck. For the last kilometer they both give it all they got to beat each other. Once almost at the end Deidre trips over her foot and falls. Scott instead of taking the victory goes back for her and when he touches her she feels this powerful unknown energy rush through her body and she is raised back to her feet and runs for the finish with Scott just behind her.

I can make a connection with Elevation to another book called Gwendy's Button Box also by Stephen King. I can make a connection because in both books the main characters Scott and Gwendy lose weight rapidly and feel healthier and better and feel like they can now take on more things in their live's.

While I was reading this book I began to think if I were Scott in the book I would've left Deidre on the ground and won the race. I would have left her on the ground up to this point she has been nothing but a jerk to Scott for no reason and doesn't have intentions to make things better between the two of them.

Text to World - I Have A Bad Feeling About This

My book is  I Have A Bad Feeling About This by Jeff Strand. This book is about a teenager named Henry who would rather played video games than spend some time in the great outdoors. Soon enough his dad shipped him off to a survival camp with his best friend Randy. When he arrives he finds that the "camp director" is a psycho drill sergeant. When they expect to be greeted with lots of people participating he's surprised to find out that only 2 more boys will be staying with them for the rest of their time there. They are given extremely difficult tasks and are forced to do many things. One night when Henry was being disciplined he is forced to spend the night outside. When a strange girl shows up casually walking through the woods. She is from a music camp a couple miles away and they start hanging out. And Henry starts developing feelings for her. The problem in this story is that Henry is forced to go to a camp. Kids today are still forced to go to camps by their paren...

"if your reading this its too late"

"If you're reading this it's too late" is by pseudonymous bosch , is about a fight between max-ernst and ms.mauvais the two main characters . The book starts off with the narrator talking about a secret being let out and could cause danger to the reader and the person in the story , making the plot thicken and making the reader wonder "what's the secret" . in the book so far whats happens is , one of the main characters named max is in a very lucid dream that she wakes up from , feeling like she's being haunted by the thought of the evil ms.mauvais . The problem in this story is similar to an event that happened in history. Like the watergate scandal , in the watergate scandal richard nixon had a big secret going on. He was try to make sure it didn't get out just like in the beginning of my book big there's an ancient dangerous secret going on and if it was let out it would cause chaos . In both of the incidents there's a lot of chaos but...

Text to Self ~ Keeper of the Lost Cities

I just finished reading Keeper Of the Lost Cities , which is the first book of Shannon Messenger's series. The book series has eight books so far. I am currently reading the second book of the series. The book is about a 12 year old girl named Sophie. She has been able to read minds since she hit her head really hard when she was 5. For the protection of herself she keeps it a secret. When she is out and about she sees a boy, as a group of small kids walk by their thoughts give her a headache, forcing her to push her head to cease the pain. Looking up, she sees that the boy did the same thing. They leave the building and he tells her that she is a telepath (mind reading ability) and that she is an elf. Her whole life changed as she leaves her family to forget about her, and moves to the lost cities to attend Fox Fire, a school for the elves. As the story continues her life is put in danger throughout many adventures with her friends. Near the end of the book, her and...
