The 100 Cupboards: The Chestnut King

In the series The 100 Cupboards, I have moved on to book 3 (The Chestnut King) since I have last posted. This book talks about the main character (Henry York Maccabee) finally battling the evil witch Niamine. Niamine has currently taken over the king and his kingdom. (the magical world in which Henry lives in.) Her evil is slowly consuming the entire world as she grows stronger. It is up to Henry to stop her, and take down her wickedness with the help of the Chestnut King and his armies of Faren. in exchange for the Chestnut King’s help, Henry must take the place of him and rule the world of the Faren until Henry himself dies.
As I read this book, I am reminded of the series “The School for Good and Evil” which is also about a magical world of fairy tales. The two main characters themselves are evil and good. They command their own magical powers as well. These two books are similar in my opinion because of the magic used in the two books. Each person has their own kind of magic, and their heart commands how that magic is used. They can use their magic to stand on the good side, or the evil side.
In the end, I plan on reading the fourth book in the series, and then I will be finished. I love how the author has written many of the characters and how the books all work together. In the end, I am sad that I have come to the end of book 3, seeing as the main characters will not be in the 4th book. I can connect to this book myself for the reason that I have found myself fighting evil in my life, just not the same way as Henry. In all, I love this series and I plan on reading every book in it, and hopefully more from the same author.

Text to World - I Have A Bad Feeling About This

My book is  I Have A Bad Feeling About This by Jeff Strand. This book is about a teenager named Henry who would rather played video games than spend some time in the great outdoors. Soon enough his dad shipped him off to a survival camp with his best friend Randy. When he arrives he finds that the "camp director" is a psycho drill sergeant. When they expect to be greeted with lots of people participating he's surprised to find out that only 2 more boys will be staying with them for the rest of their time there. They are given extremely difficult tasks and are forced to do many things. One night when Henry was being disciplined he is forced to spend the night outside. When a strange girl shows up casually walking through the woods. She is from a music camp a couple miles away and they start hanging out. And Henry starts developing feelings for her. The problem in this story is that Henry is forced to go to a camp. Kids today are still forced to go to camps by their paren...

"if your reading this its too late"

"If you're reading this it's too late" is by pseudonymous bosch , is about a fight between max-ernst and ms.mauvais the two main characters . The book starts off with the narrator talking about a secret being let out and could cause danger to the reader and the person in the story , making the plot thicken and making the reader wonder "what's the secret" . in the book so far whats happens is , one of the main characters named max is in a very lucid dream that she wakes up from , feeling like she's being haunted by the thought of the evil ms.mauvais . The problem in this story is similar to an event that happened in history. Like the watergate scandal , in the watergate scandal richard nixon had a big secret going on. He was try to make sure it didn't get out just like in the beginning of my book big there's an ancient dangerous secret going on and if it was let out it would cause chaos . In both of the incidents there's a lot of chaos but...

Text to Self ~ Keeper of the Lost Cities

I just finished reading Keeper Of the Lost Cities , which is the first book of Shannon Messenger's series. The book series has eight books so far. I am currently reading the second book of the series. The book is about a 12 year old girl named Sophie. She has been able to read minds since she hit her head really hard when she was 5. For the protection of herself she keeps it a secret. When she is out and about she sees a boy, as a group of small kids walk by their thoughts give her a headache, forcing her to push her head to cease the pain. Looking up, she sees that the boy did the same thing. They leave the building and he tells her that she is a telepath (mind reading ability) and that she is an elf. Her whole life changed as she leaves her family to forget about her, and moves to the lost cities to attend Fox Fire, a school for the elves. As the story continues her life is put in danger throughout many adventures with her friends. Near the end of the book, her and...
