The book I am reading is This Isn't What It Looks Like by Pseudonymous Bosch.  It is about a girl who eats chocolate then time travels. She is trying to make it back to modern day and she is back in jester times times and she has to adjust and get back to her time. She meet a relative to help her get back and then she finds a monocle and it was able to give her double vision and she can see things farther and see through things. Cass also sees the King and in the wagon there is a chest and the chest fell and the people didn't notice and she used her monocle to see through the chest.
          Cass at times remind me of Sherlock Homes because Cass is very observant and she doesn't miss a clue.She also reminds me of Sherlock Homes because she has to put together clues in order to get back to her time period. One scene in the book when she is still trying to adjust to a new time it reminds me of back to the future and he was trying to adjust the how different the future was.The difference between them is that in back to the future Marty Mcfly went to the future and Cass didn't she went back in medieval times. What both of these story's have in common is that both of these story's included there family Marty has to not encounter himself and his family in order to change time Cass went back in time and she has to solve a problem her family created in order to get back to her time period.
         I have a few questions like how Cass is going to use her monocle for to figure out how to get back to her time period. I don't like how the witch just gave her the monocle and it gives her double vision and she can see farther  and I feel like she cant really use it in the story for good use.I like how the author is giving Cass something to try and help her get closer to solving the mysterious.I think this book is starting to get more interesting and i will like to see what other things she will find to help her get back to here normal time

     I just finished reading Keeper Of the Lost Cities , which is the first book of Shannon Messenger's series. The book series has eight books so far. I am currently reading the second book of the series. The book is about a 12 year old girl named Sophie. She has been able to read minds since she hit her head really hard when she was 5. For the protection of herself she keeps it a secret. When she is out and about she sees a boy, as a group of small kids walk by their thoughts give her a headache, forcing her to push her head to cease the pain. Looking up, she sees that the boy did the same thing. They leave the building and he tells her that she is a telepath (mind reading ability) and that she is an elf. Her whole life changed as she leaves her family to forget about her, and moves to the lost cities to attend Fox Fire, a school for the elves. Text to World: 100 Cupboards book 1-3

(Summary of book 1-3… totally 5-6 sentences.) The 100 Cupboards is a series about a boy named Henry, who has discovered 99 cupboards behind his bedroom wall. The series starts off with him releasing the evil witch Niamine, who thirsts for blood and the life of others. As book 1 moves on Henry discovers he is from a completely different world and that his parents are not actually his parents. He, in fact, comes from the cupboards himself. In the end of the book, Henry is told to stay away from the cupboards from his uncle (whom he is currently living with).
