Text to World: 100 Cupboards book 1-3

(Summary of book 1-3… totally 5-6 sentences.) The 100 Cupboards is a series about a boy named Henry, who has discovered 99 cupboards behind his bedroom wall. The series starts off with him releasing the evil witch Niamine, who thirsts for blood and the life of others. As book 1 moves on Henry discovers he is from a completely different world and that his parents are not actually his parents. He, in fact, comes from the cupboards himself. In the end of the book, Henry is told to stay away from the cupboards from his uncle (whom he is currently living with). Book 2 begins with Henry receiving letters from the Faren, who seem to have control of the land. Henry then finds out that one of his cousins has stolen a key that he needed to travel the cupboards with, and he must get it back. He soon finds out she has buried the key in the field behind the barn. While she digs up the key, Henry stares into a dandelion, and sees flame. He reaches out and touches it, and gains the magical power of dandelions. As book 2 goes on, Henry disobeys his uncle Frank and travels back into the cupboards. He is dragged through the worlds, each to a different place. In the end, henry finds his own family, learning Frank is actually his uncle and that his father is Mordecai (whom is missing). His Faerie friend who has been accompanying him through this tells Henry that his father is alive, and that he has been imprisoned by the Faren. He also tells Henry the way to free him, which Henry does. In the end, Henry and his entire family are back together. The evil witch’s followers have been defeated. Book 3 is mostly about Henry and bringing down the witch. She is defeated and the book talks about how henry moves on to play baseball once he is old enough.
My series can connect to the world in a few different ways, but the biggest connection I can see is when Henry was reunited with his family, which he never met. There are many people in the real world who are separated from their families and or never met them before. This is like Henry, who was torn away from his family when he was a baby. This relates mostly with illegal immigrants, however. People come into the United States illegally, and then they have a child. Their parents are then found out and sent back to their own country while the child is a U.S. citizen. The only way this relates, however, is the fact that the family was split apart. “A couple has raised millions of dollars from thousands of people to reunite immigrant parents with their children.” (Social Media Generates More Than $15 Million to Aid Separated Immigrant Families)
In the end, this book series was an amazing series. I enjoyed reading every book and trying to figure out the mysteries myself. I can only relate to my text to world relation, however, in one way. That way would be when I was separated from my family in a theme park. I could not find them and I was lost. This was the only time I’ve been separated from my family, though. After reading the book series 100 Cupboards, I would like to recommend it to you, if you enjoy mystery, adventure, fantasy, and suspense.

Text to Self: The 100 Cupboards: Dandelion Fire

I am currently reading  The 100 Cupboards: Dandelion Fire  . It is the second book in the series and it is about a magical boy battling an evil power in which he had released himself in the first book of the series. In the first book, he moves in with his Aunt and Uncle after his parents are kidnapped. He soon discovers that behind the plaster in his wall are 99 hidden magical cupboards that lead to different worlds. The second book continues where the first left off.           I can connect to the main character Henry in many ways because of how he acts and feels towards his cousin Henrietta. To me, Henrietta acts like my little brother. Henrietta was one of the people who caused the huge mess that Henry now has to clean up. She also decided to go exploring the cupboards without telling anyone. In the end she ended up being captured. I believe my brother would act the same way as her if he was in the same situation....

"if your reading this its too late"

"If you're reading this it's too late" is by pseudonymous bosch , is about a fight between max-ernst and ms.mauvais the two main characters . The book starts off with the narrator talking about a secret being let out and could cause danger to the reader and the person in the story , making the plot thicken and making the reader wonder "what's the secret" . in the book so far whats happens is , one of the main characters named max is in a very lucid dream that she wakes up from , feeling like she's being haunted by the thought of the evil ms.mauvais . The problem in this story is similar to an event that happened in history. Like the watergate scandal , in the watergate scandal richard nixon had a big secret going on. He was try to make sure it didn't get out just like in the beginning of my book big there's an ancient dangerous secret going on and if it was let out it would cause chaos . In both of the incidents there's a lot of chaos but...

Text to World - I Have A Bad Feeling About This

My book is  I Have A Bad Feeling About This by Jeff Strand. This book is about a teenager named Henry who would rather played video games than spend some time in the great outdoors. Soon enough his dad shipped him off to a survival camp with his best friend Randy. When he arrives he finds that the "camp director" is a psycho drill sergeant. When they expect to be greeted with lots of people participating he's surprised to find out that only 2 more boys will be staying with them for the rest of their time there. They are given extremely difficult tasks and are forced to do many things. One night when Henry was being disciplined he is forced to spend the night outside. When a strange girl shows up casually walking through the woods. She is from a music camp a couple miles away and they start hanging out. And Henry starts developing feelings for her. The problem in this story is that Henry is forced to go to a camp. Kids today are still forced to go to camps by their paren...
