Text to World- UMBC upset

I am connecting Old School Grit to the March Madness upset (UMBC). This book is about a coach named Flanagan in his 43rd season as a basketball coach at St. Rita's. Coach Flanagan is in his last season because he was diagnosed with cancer. His team is qualified for the national basketball tournament and goes very far as an underdog. On the other hand, the March Madness UMBC upsets was about a 16th seed playing the #1 seed. UMBC hit all of there shots and made it pasts Virginia the #1 seed and went down as one greatest history sports upset ever.
This scene reminded of a similar scene in Old School Grit because in Old School Grit the St. Ritas team is an underdog and is upsetting all these team and making it to the final four. But with the UMBC story this team is projected to get disqualified in the first round. They are predicted this because of they are going in as the lowest seed playing the highest seed. But this team had a great game like playing great defense getting rebounds and making your shots. That is the only thing needed to win games so they did just that.
I began to think about both situations and ask myself on how these team are in the same tournament and are upsetting team in different years. If I were UMBC I would be very proud of myself/team because we may have lost in the second round but beat the best team in the country. These situations teaches me to never look at the rankings and just play your best and good outcomes will happen.

"If you're reading this it's too late" is by pseudonymous bosch , is about a fight between max-ernst and ms.mauvais the two main characters . The book starts off with the narrator talking about a secret being let out and could cause danger to the reader and the person in the story , making the plot thicken and making the reader wonder "what's the secret" . in the book so far whats happens is , one of the main characters named max is in a very lucid dream that she wakes up from , feeling like she's being haunted by the thought of the evil ms.mauvais . The problem in this story is similar to an event that happened in history. Like the watergate scandal , in the watergate scandal richard nixon had a big secret going on. He was try to make sure it didn't get out just like in the beginning of my book big there's an ancient dangerous secret going on and if it was let out it would cause chaos . Text to Self ~ Keeper of the Lost Cities

     I just finished reading Keeper Of the Lost Cities , which is the first book of Shannon Messenger's series. The book series has eight books so far. I am currently reading the second book of the series. The book is about a 12 year old girl named Sophie. She has been able to read minds since she hit her head really hard when she was 5. For the protection of herself she keeps it a secret. When she is out and about she sees a boy, as a group of small kids walk by their thoughts give her a headache, forcing her to push her head to cease the pain. Looking up, she sees that the boy did the same thing. They leave the building and he tells her that she is a telepath (mind reading ability) and that she is an elf.
