The book I am reading is This Isn't What it Looks Like and the author is Pseudonymous Bosh. This is a story a girl name Cass and when she eat a special bar of chocolate the chocolate put her in a coma and since she is in a coma she is dreaming and she is dreaming about her in medieval times. Cass also is putting together her family's history and she is doing this with the help of one of Cass's ancestor. In the regular world Cass's best friend Max is trying to wake up Cass and he is worried. In order to come out of the coma she needs to right a wrong her ancestors did.
This character reminds me of one of my friends because she always rights her wrongs and she is responsible and she is a very honest person. She also is a good problem solver and is very smart and independent.Max reminds me of me because he is very helping and cares about his friends and also always lends a helping hand. One of the scenes in the book are similar to something that happened to me in real life because I was at the hospital because my grandma was in the hospital and I was so worried and I was just thinking of ways I could help like if my grandma needed water then I would go get her water and then anything she needed I would go get.
I love the way that the author is mysterious and he puts that in his book series. I also like how his book ends and then he creates a book that seems different but they are connected. I wish this book would explain more about how the chocolate works and is there a certain amount of time until this coma is permanent. One thing I don't like about this book is that this book can be slow at times and it take longer to explain things and another thing I don't like is in this book is you have to pay very close attention to this book because at times this book can be confusing. This book surprised me when they introduced Cass's ancestor because it was a nice twist and it gave the plot more flavor then if Cass was just by herself.
